Interactive Internet based system SPOTMaps-Bulgaria
One of the results of the Bulgarian-French project BulgaRisk related to the application of satellite imageries for risk management for natural disasters like floods and forest fires, also the littoral’s pollution, is the creating and commissioning of Internet based system of satellite imageries over the territory of Bulgaria, with spatial resolution of 2,5 m.
The service is available on: www.spotmapsbulgaria.com, after the registration into the web-system, the user could use all of the services available.

Remote Sensing and Monitoring
ASDE’s concrete involvement in this area is management of the green system and preservation of the natural and cultural environment.
Sample solutions for management of urban green systems using remote sensing methods have been developed for Rousse and Sofia (.pdf and graphic files for the two cities coming soon).
