SDE implements concrete initiatives and projects in coordination and cooperation with state structures such as the Government’s Administration, the Foreign Ministry, the Environment and Waters Ministry, the State Agency for Information Technologies and Communications, etc.
ASDE is an active partner of the Bavarian Ministry for Regional Development and Environment and a member of the Bulgaria-Bavaria Standing Committee.
ASDE interacts with the European Academy of the Urban Development and the District of Berlin under an agreement between Sofia and Berlin.
With the support of the Ministry of Environment and Waters , ASDE started a long-term partnership with the Ministry of the Environment, Rural Areas and Consumer Protection of the State of Hessen. To this effect, a Bulgarian Association Alliance for the Environment was set up in 2004, whose main goal is the introduction îf the European and international regulations and standards relating to Environmental Management Systems, quality management and occupational health and safety (EMS, ISO, OHSAS).
Agreements and guidelines for joint activities are in place for work with the ministries of Regional Development and Public Works, Agriculture and Forestry, and Labour and Social Policy.
ASDE has signed framework agreements with the University for National and World Economy, the Institute of Geophysics with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and with other research institutes.
ASDE is open for cooperation with other organizations who share its goals and values.
With the purpose of implementing assignments relating to spatial databases and objective monitoring of land and land resources, ASDE has concluded a number of agreements with leading European organizations working in the area of remote sensing. ASDE has signed agreements with EURIMAGE, SPOT IMAGE, EUSI and EUROMAP for distribution of satellite imagery in Bulgaria. The leading specialized structure in this respect is the Remote Sensing Application Centre (ReSAC).
ASDE participates in a number of international projects under European Union programmes, and has partners in more than 25 European countries.
